Gullett PTA helps Palm Elementary!

Palm Elementary suffered major flooding from the Friday, Oct 30 heavy rains. 23 classrooms
were damaged. AISD is figuring out where to put kids to keep learning going while only half the school is operational. However, the damage and complete loss of so many materials created by and paid for by individual teachers will not be covered by insurance. Some teachers lost an entire career worth of materials they personally made (with love!) for their students.

We are proud to announce the Gullett PTA unanimously approved a $1,000 donation from our PTA to their teachers. We have reached out to several area PTAs asking them to match or better our donation. We are so grateful to have the opportunity to make this donation on behalf of our community. If your family would like to donate additional funds, please visit tinyurl.com/palmrelief. Its easy, and fast, and anything helps!
