What is the PTA?

The Gullett Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is made up of parents, teachers and administrators working together to enrich the educational opportunities for all our students. While Gullett has always been known for high academic standards and outstanding faculty, our unique community provides our students with opportunities to learn about animals, gardening, sustainability and philanthropy. The PTA supports these programs through fundraising efforts but more importantly through the time and talents of our amazing parent volunteers.

Membership

All families that donate to the Gecko Fund are members of the PTA! Membership entitles you to all PTA Membership Benefits provided by Texas PTA including exclusive offers and discounts.

Come to a meeting!

Gullett PTA meetings are open to anyone interested and we strongly encourage you to attend! It’s a great way to learn about school issues and activities. We usually meet on the first Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the school library, unless it’s a school holiday. See the Gullett Calendar for dates and locations.

The general PTA meets several times a year, usually during an already-planned school event. For example, the first PTA meeting is usually scheduled during Back-to-School Night after the K-2 grades meet and before the 3-5 grades meet. Contact Mandy Black, PTA president, with questions.
